Osiris is an application server, application environment and product starter kit all rolled into one. It acts as a secured content management system as well as a layer between your application and the Operating System.
The current entry level edition of Osiris is 1.2 RE which extends the service lifetime of Osiris 1.2 by a further two years and includes a dramatic rearrangement of the package, Osiris Application support and OsirisObjects. A final feature release will be launched in April 2008 and labelled Osiris 1.2 RX.
Osiris 1.3 is now available and provides everything in Osiris 1.2 RE and adds Virtual Application Spaces and improved domain management and is pure Osiris Objects based.
Osiris 2.0 will upgrade Osiris 1.3 and provide a dramatic performance increase as it will include the Logan kernel which itself provides distributed messaging, data sharing and distributed concurrency services.
